Bethany Sousa has been doing film, music, and photography collectlively since 2006. She first learned the power behind imagry storytelling in highschool while tryng to get out of an English assignment. It very quickly turned into a hobby, which turned into a deep passion. Bethany started with music as her first love. Writing poems, lyrics, and eventually songs to help process emotional expression through her teen years. She then produced her first series of small short films in highschool that turned into a career, studying Digital Film and Cinema History for 3-years. This landed her in the photography world where she desired to study cinematography. Learning different techniques by a few local Southern California photographers as mentors, Bethany began developing her now existing style of candid documentry style imagery.

    Bethany has a very unique eye for intimate candid moments. Focusing entirely on capturing the emotion rather than just the shot, Bethany uses her film techniques of documentry style to tell the story with each image, rather than just freezing a moment in time.
